Discover the aromas and flavours of Tuscan vineyards

Tuscany offers a variety of activities to discover why its wines are so popular: organized visits to estates, vineyards and wineries, tastings, sightseeing and food tours or cooking classes.
It is possible to discover the region by exploring all the different domains located in the four corners of Tuscany, enjoying a beautiful variety of wine, as much from the style of winemaking.

The Chianti with its wine, the Chianti Classico, south of Florence, is one of the most famous wine regions for the production of quality wines. Since at least the 18th century, the Sangiovese grape varieties have been cultivated here, which has led to the creation of the most famous Tuscan wine, renowned for its quality all over the world. However, for some the brand is a victim of its reputation, and prices do not always reflect the quality of the wine. Many of these wines are also (as is often the case in Italy) marketed by “industrial” producers who flood the market with “standard” products.
But the wine regions are not limited to Chianti. In the south of the region, high quality wines are produced. For example, Brunello, grown near the picturesque village of Montalcino, is a wine with a rich and full-bodied flavour. Further east is the area of Vino Nobile, produced in the vicinity of Montepulciano. The Orcia DOC, the latest addition to the long list of great wines from Tuscany, is between the two previous ones. To the south and west, independent producers are more present, and organic farming is developing.

The list of terroirs does not stop there, and we discover small wine regions everywhere. The wine of Morellino di Scansano, appreciated all over Italy, the wine-growing region of Lucca and Montecarlo, Cortona and even the west coast of the Maremma, like Bolgheri in the Val di Cornia.
